I will start this comment by conceding that I am not the world’s deepest thinker, staying in the shallow end of the pool of deep ponderment. That being said, I enjoyed the conversation until the clip of the conversation between the soon to be departing Mormon (I will not embrace the full name) and the author. In his logic he proposed the idea of the universe (including the earth) always existing and that if it always existed, it would predate God and therefor God could not be our creator. My problem is that in all of my reading and studying, both religious and atheist generally discuss the idea of a creation, big bang, or other forming event. This logic that he used proposing an alternate, always existing universe, struck me as being disingenuous. He didn’t say it because he thought it was true, he said it because he thought it would make the guy think and second guess. That is the same BS that the religious folks do… In that light, the author Peter Begosian (or whatever the hell his name is) lost credibility with me…

Boghossian is Walter from the Big Lebowski, he’s not wrong, he’s just an asshole.

I for one an loving this series you are doing. If you haven’t seen https://www.youtube.com/user/magnabosco210 this guys YouTube channel I would highly recommend it. He follows the book in his approach but comes across as very kind and genuine and seems to have good conversations.
