Disciples After Dark: Aunt Wendy and the Worldly Sex

Posted January 27th, 2017

What happens when parody meets smackdown?  This.

Matt and Kristin and Glenn (and a special guest or two) take some time to delicately mock and smackdown the Jan 8 2017 World Wide Devotional for Young Adults.  Because the devil wants to ruin you all with empty lust-filled worldly sex (but thinking that everyone else in the entire world is being deceived by Satan and you and your fellow church members are the only righteous people chosen of God is totally fine.  In fact it is encouraged.)

And a previously recorded Jake and Heather join in for a nice recycled song.

    Spectacular.

Of note, Wendy Watson Nelson in response to the question in LDS Living of “What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?,” Aunt Wendy responded: “Never settle.”

Because, you see, if Wendy had settled for a worldly man in her youth, she may have had world sex, and she never would have had the opportunity to become the second wife of a then 82 year-old Apostle of the Lord (only 26 years older than Wendy!). By not settling, Wendy was able to have all of the benefits and adulation that come with being married to an apostle, without actually having to have intercourse with him!

  • Yes, one of the greatest Truths in life is: “Manage your expectations and everything else will take care of itself.” A lesson it would behoove us all to take to heart in the years to come.

lol.. I’m never going golfing with my husband… and never going to get into playing his video games. It’s okay to have separate hobbies. You dont have to be the same exact person as your spouse after you get married. 😉

My advice would be to: always keep flirting. Flirting keeps things hot for the bedroom.
